Phi Beta Sigma Chapter returns to the MLK Parade 2018
Taste of Soul 2017
For the fifth straight year, the Phi Beta Sigma Chapter (Los Angeles Alumni Chapter) of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. maintained a presence at the Taste OF Soul Family Festival in Los Angeles, which was held on October 21, 2017 along Crenshaw Blvd. between Rodeo Road and Stocker Street. Phi Beta Sigma Chapter maintained a booth at the event which not only provided information on the organization free haircuts; entertainment in the form of a demonstrative Step Show, but the Brothers also sold bottles of water in an effort to raise funds for our annual scholarship giveaway.
Also at this year's Taste Of Soul event, the Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Chapter volunteered as coordinators to help assist vendors and patrons in attendance.
The Phi Beta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was the first of the Divine Nine Black Greek Letter Organizations to have a booth at the Taste of Soul event, which now has booths sponsored by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as well. We once again thank those that stopped by and supported the phi Beta Sigma booth and look forward to seeing you again next year at the Taste of Soul Family Festival.
On Tuesday, November 7, 2017, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc (Phi Beta Sigma LA Alumni Chapter) helped to warm up Los Angeles with a special Taco Tuesday Blanket Drive gatthe historic Regency West in Liemert Park Village. Over 200 people were in attendance and we partied to the sounds of DJ Paradise.
